Why is Prioritization Scary?

Prioritization is Frightening:

Traditionally, prioritization is seen as a commitment, an initial agreement to do a set of things by a certain time. We are on the hook.

But it's deeper than that.

Our level of engagement, our capacity, how well we are informed, how we are judged, all drive us to demand someone else give us clarity.

Unfortunately, clarity can't be granted externally, it needs to be collaborative.

When we as individuals seek meaningful prioritization, we must find our own clarity.

Reflection:

What information do I need that I don't have? How can I get it?
